Shipping exhibit materials or equipment to the Indiana Convention Center? Find venue information, freight considerations, and shipping options to help plan your next trade show in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Convention Center is a major trade show destination in downtown Indianapolis, hosting manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, and other industry events. With 11 exhibit halls and extensive loading facilities, the venue accommodates everything from standard exhibit displays to large machinery and equipment shipments.
Trade show freight must be coordinated through each event's designated general service contractor. The convention center's freight dock is located at 5 South Missouri Street, separate from its public entrance, and deliveries should not arrive before the show contractor is on-site. Exhibitors should confirm receiving windows, dock instructions, and advance warehouse options before scheduling transportation.
For the Indiana Convention Center, make sure your carrier has the correct freight delivery address—not just the venue's main address on Capitol Avenue. Shipments arriving at the wrong location or before the show's contractor is ready may be refused.
We recommend confirming your assigned move-in schedule, general service contractor, and material handling requirements before dispatch. For machinery, oversized displays, or multiple shipments arriving from different locations, coordinate unloading arrangements early. If your freight is ready well ahead of move-in, consider the show's approved advance warehouse option rather than sending it directly to the convention center.
