Huntington Place is a major convention and exhibition center on Detroit's riverfront, with five exhibit halls and more than 700,000 square feet of exhibition space. The venue hosts automotive, manufacturing, technology, and other large-scale industry events, accommodating everything from standard exhibit booths to heavy machinery and vehicle displays.
Freight deliveries require coordination with each event's general service contractor and assigned move-in schedule. Loading docks for Halls A–D are accessed from the Second and Congress Street area, while Hall E has separate access at river level. Huntington Place does not accept advance freight for storage, so early shipments should be arranged through the show's designated contractor when available.

For Huntington Place, confirm your assigned exhibit hall before finalizing freight delivery instructions. The loading dock approach differs between Halls A–D and Hall E, and downtown truck routing deserves extra attention.
If you're shipping machinery, vehicles, or oversized equipment, coordinate dimensions, weight, unloading requirements, and move-in timing with the show's contractor well in advance. For heavy displays, verify floor-loading restrictions and any required approvals. Don't send freight early to the convention center itself; use an approved advance warehouse if your show offers one.
