AHR Expo brings HVACR equipment, machinery, and exhibit freight to McCormick Place in Chicago. Exhibitors can ship to the advance warehouse beginning December 22 or deliver directly to showsite according to their assigned target move-in.

For heavy equipment or time-sensitive freight, plan transportation around your target date and installation requirements rather than simply the show's opening date.

Which Shipping Option Makes Sense for AHR Expo?

If your freight is ready early, the advance warehouse offers additional flexibility ahead of move-in, with freight accepted through January 14. Direct-to-show may be better suited for equipment that needs to arrive closer to installation.

For larger HVAC equipment or machinery, start with your assigned target move-in and setup requirements, then work backward to determine pickup and transit timing.

AHR Expo Shipping FAQs

When is the AHR Expo 2027 advance warehouse deadline?

The AHR Expo advance warehouse accepts freight from December 22, 2026 through January 14, 2027. Freight arriving after January 14 is subject to an additional after-deadline charge.

Can I ship HVAC equipment to the AHR Expo advance warehouse?

Yes, but the advance warehouse has freight restrictions. It does not accept uncrated or unskidded machinery, and individual pieces over 5,000 pounds or larger than 108 inches high by 93 inches wide are not accepted. Larger equipment may require a direct-to-show shipping plan.

Can I ship directly to McCormick Place for AHR Expo 2027?

Yes. Direct-to-show shipments can be sent to McCormick Place, but AHR Expo is a targeted show. Freight carriers must check in at the marshaling yard according to the target date and time assigned to the exhibitor's booth.

Can Exhibitway ship HVAC equipment and machinery to AHR Expo?

Yes. Exhibitway can coordinate HVAC equipment, machinery, displays, and other trade show freight for AHR Expo. Larger or specialized equipment should be planned around the booth's target move-in, unloading, and installation requirements.
